Message Snippet
One thing that is as sure as the existence of
heaven and earth are life's challenges. Show
me a man or woman without challenges, and
I will show you a dead man or woman. The
bible does not promise us that we will be
without challenges in this present world, but
rather assures us of God mercy, grace, and
help in all of life's challenges.
WEEKLY DEVOTIONAL
Scripture:
Isaiah 49:14-16
"But Zion said, the Lord has forsaken me, and my Lord hath
forgotten me. Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she
should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they
may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee
upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me."(KJV.)
COMMENTARY/MEDITATION
Beloved, people tend to feel alone during moments of crisis,
disappointment, or tragedy, but one thing we can count on
is God's faithfulness and love in all that life throws at us, for
as the psalmist rightly put it, 'I have been young, and now I
am old, I have never seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed
begging bread'.
